About dWELL Recovery

A Letter from our Founding Partners

In founding dWELL, our mission was to create gender-affirming transitional recovery housing that promotes skill-based learning and community support for young adults navigating mental health concerns.

We built dWELL because we saw a void in the existing recovery housing models and knew that something was missing.

Most supported living residences across the nation are “sober” living homes that place a strong emphasis on serving individuals overcoming substance use concerns. The majority are designed around a cisgender identity.

Today, when residents arrive at dWELL, they are coming home to a new experience of structured living; one that embraces the recovery experience for individuals with a range of mental health concerns while providing a residence that is affirming for people of all genders, gender identities and expressions including cisgender, transgender and gender non-binary.

From all of us at dWELL, we look forward to welcoming you!
